Read-only connections

Crypto exchange portfolio tracker

Chain Glance connects to popular exchanges with read-only API keys and shows those balances, trades and full history in the same portfolio as your on-chain wallets.

What syncs

Balances are the easy part

A balance is one number an exchange will hand you. Reconstructing how you got to it is the work.

Current holdings

What you hold at each venue, valued and folded into your portfolio total next to your wallet addresses.

Full trade history

Trades, conversions, deposits, withdrawals and rewards, paged back to the start of the account rather than the last few months.

Venue quirks

Single-leg trades, duplicated deposit rows, delisted coins, contracts quoted in notional. Each adapter handles what its venue actually returns.

Read-only, and revocable

Chain Glance never asks for trading or withdrawal permission, and cannot move anything out of an account. You create the key at the exchange, and you can revoke it there at any time. The connection stops and your imported history stays.

Exchanges and wallets in one history

Connecting an exchange is worth more once your wallets are in too. Moving coins from an exchange to a wallet you own is a transfer, and Chain Glance links the two sides instead of recording a disposal and a fresh purchase.

How transfer matching works

Not yet available

Built, but not open to connect

Chain Glance has working adapters for OKX, Bybit, KuCoin, Gate.io, MEXC, HTX, Crypto.com, Bitfinex, Upbit, BingX. They are not open to connect yet, and we would rather say so than list them as supported. There is no date attached to any of them.

Exchange sync questions

Which exchanges can I connect?
Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Bitget, Bitstamp, Robinhood. Each one connects with a read-only credential you create at the exchange, and each has its own page explaining what syncs.
Can Chain Glance trade or withdraw from my exchange accounts?
No. Every connection is read-only. Create the key with read permission and leave trading and withdrawal switched off. Revoke the key at the exchange whenever you want and the connection stops.
How far back does exchange history go?
To the start of the account, wherever the exchange makes that history available. Chain Glance pages back through the ledger rather than importing only recent months, so an account opened years ago reconstructs in full.
What happens when I move coins between an exchange and my wallet?
The withdrawal and the matching on-chain deposit are recognised as one transfer between accounts you own, not as a sale followed by a repurchase. How transfer matching works
Do exchange accounts count against my wallet limit?
Exchange connections and wallet addresses are tracked in the same portfolio. The plan comparison sets out what each tier includes. See pricing
